I have seen Becker in Halfords and thought it was worth a try.( I had almost decided on a TomTom ) I decided to buy because it was in the price bracket on ebay that I wanted to spend.

It looks good but i found its operation somewhat confusing- although it is early days yet and i have no comparison with another sat nav. It got me to a destination in Birmingham that I would have struggled to find easily- so may be more promising as I use it more. I suggest any prospective buyers look for a review by someone who can compare this with another good sat nav that they have used.

You can be assured that it is totally brand new unused and complete with all of the listed accessories – including cables and chargers that are no longer available separately. As a responsible dealer we opened the Becker Ferrari seal on the box a couple of years ago to remove and check that the battery (which could be 10 years old) was not leaking and expanding within the battery compartment - thus causing damage. It was not, it was perfect.

We checked again on 30th May 2017 and the battery (now packed separately from the main unit) is still in perfect condition. It has never been used but this is no guarantee that, 10 years later, it will hold its charge. Fortunately replacement batteries are available via eBay at around £15.00. We sold out of genuine Becker batteries several years ago. If you purchase this Becker Ferrari 7929 we do not guarantee that the included genuine Becker battery will hold its charge.

The Becker Ferrari will still function without a battery but it will lose its memory as soon as it is unplugged. THIS IS AN OLD MODEL WHICH PROBABLY CANNOT BE UPDATED.
